Background Info:
I began teaching at University High School in 2006 after completing the Connecticut Alternative Route to Certification (ARC) program. I hold teaching certificates in physics (#032) and chemistry (#031).
Before coming to UHS, I was website administrator for arXiv.org, an online publishing site managed by the Cornell University Library. I earned my doctorate at University of Arizona in Tucson, working for Fulvio Melia on the supermassive black hole astrophysics. While earning my degree, I taught college courses and published scientific articles. Prior to that, I worked as an organic chemist at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in their drug discovery program.
In my free time, I enjoy running, gardening, and spending time with my family.
